Winter, says David, isn't a time to put your painting equipment away! Even if you don't fancy going out like Monet in three overcoats and with a portable heater, there are alternatives. Modern all-weather clothing is very light and quick-drying and you also have the option of using photographs or sheltering in the car while you make a quick sketch.

This dazzling DVD - packed full of practical advice, hints, tips and demonstrations -
takes us on a tour through a winter wonderland - sketching a variety of subjects including: cottages, trees, water, atmospheric skies and a fairy tale castle, before returning to David's studio where he transforms one of his previous sketches into a finished watercolour masterpiece.
