Can you use these paints on silk. If the answer is no, then what silk paints have you got if any.
Thank you for your enquiry, I can confirm that looking at the differences between the Pebeo ranges If you are painting on silk you should be looking at the Pebeo Setasilk rather than the Pebeo Setacolour which is more opaque.
Sorry but this is a range of product which we are discontinuing and have limited stock.
Setacolour can be used on the majority of fine and thick. Light and dark fabrics, natural or synthetic, prewashed fabrics like: cotton, wool, jersey, velvet, polyester, mixed fibres and even leather. The opaque colours are very covering and can be used pure or diluted with water to create a watercolour effect.
Setasilk can be used on most silks like twill, damask silk, crêpe de Chine These are bright and intense heat-fixable colours for silk painting. They are fluid and fuse onto silk with a gloss finish. They will air-dry in minutes and the colours are ready to use and mixed together. Easy to fix by ironing and works well with all silk painting techniques.
I hope this information helps
