  • Description/Summary
On page 31 of your March issue of Paint Ali Lindley offered some tips for creating your own colour wheel. Have a look at a larger version of hers here then have a play at creating your own. Painting a 48 section colour wheel is a challenge but one that really demonstrates how colour works i.e. three pure primary colours, with subtle mixing will give you all the earth, neutral colours you are ever likely to need. Following someone else's palette is fine but it will not teach you HOW colour works. Click here for a larger image to copy. Upload your colour wheel here and tell us how you got on - did you find it easy or difficult and how do you think it will help your painting. Our ten favourite entries will be sent a colourful prize! Closing date 15th April 2015
