Improve your skills, increase your confidence and learn how to get the best out of a variety of mediums.
All classes are fun, informal and designed to give group and individual tuition with demonstrations throughout. Alternatively I can offer one to one sessions in your own home or arrange workshops for small groups. If you would like me to take a workshop, lead a critique or do a demonstration for you or your art group, please contact me to arrange a mutually convenient time.
Weekly fun classes are mainly aimed at improvers but all levels are welcome. I try to design the courses to be as varied as possible covering a wide variety of subjects, styles, mediums and techniques. Staged demonstrations are painted alongside you so you can see how a painting might be built up, hopefully inspiring you to use the many tips and techniques in your own work.
Regular classes are held at: The Stables, Frant, Tunbridge Wells, Kent. The Methodist Church, Tonbridge, Kent and Little Common Methodist Church, Bexhill, East Sussex

I am an award winning artist and encouraging tutor living in the southeast of England. I think my painting style could be described as expressive and colourful and I work and teach with various mediums and techniques over a variety of subjects.
I have been teaching for more than twelve years in Kent and East Sussex, running classes and workshops as well as taking workshops, demonstrations and critiques for several organisations and art societies. I also take groups to the Limousin region of France for painting holidays in the summer and have created a number of art video courses in collaboratrion with ArtTutor.com.
In the past I have worked as a freelance illustrator in advertising and publishing, my work has been reproduced in books, on book jackets and in several magazines. I have had paintings shown in many joint exhibitions across the UK including at the Mall Galleries, London where in 2014 I received the Faber-Castell Award for my pastel painting of 'Big Baby'.
