Tuition FROM: Wednesday, 5 November 2014 TO: Wednesday, 5 November 2014

Tuition Type: Classes

  • Description
Valerie has been taking photographs of her work as it progresses. These images show the build up of layers of paint at each stage, from base paint to last splatter. This process also shows some of the struggles that face every artist when trying to get a painting to look right before it gets thrown, in disgust, over the wall and into the field!

For this workshop these images will be shown, discussed in a chatty, interactive manner and techniques will be demonstrated. Everyone will get a chance to have a go at adding that little extra, elusive something to their own work.

Valerie will be working in gouache, but any painting material will suffice. Bring along the usual painting paraphernalia, some work in progress and a smile. If no work has been started, bring something that will inspire, and a base (paper/board/canvas) to work on.
