Learn The Techniques of Drawing Animals With Wildl

Tuition FROM: Sunday, 17 August 2014 TO: Monday, 18 August 2014

Tuition Type: Workshops

  • Description
Learn The Techniques of Drawing Animals With Wildlife Artist Frances Whitman

The workshop will cover pet portraiture and wild animals, concentrating on animal eyes, fur, mouths, noses and ears. During the workshop there will be a choice of whether to apply the techniques to dog and cat portraits or wildlife drawings, or both if you wish!
We will be drawing on pre-drawn templates, using different subjects and reference from the ones I have previously taught with.

Saturday will concentrate on learning the techniques used to draw eyes, nose, mouths and ears. Sunday we will be exploring different fur techniques and putting all that has been learnt together into a portrait.

If you have already attended any of my workshops and can only attend for one day, the second day would be ideal for applying the skills you already have and learning a few more.

All materials used in the workshop are provided, but you are welcome to bring along any of your own pencils to use or if you need any advice with using them, I am happy to help. Please bring your own pencil sharpener if you prefer, although I will be providing sharpeners.

Refreshments and a light lunch is included.

There is disabled access and plenty of free parking. The room we will be using is on the ground floor and is very cool with thick stone walls if it is a hot weekend.

A £50.00 deposit is payable to Frances in advance with the balance due on the weekend of the workshop.
