Hello, Please can you give more information about the ingredients in the ink? Does it contain any animal derived ingredients? Thank you
Thank you for your enquiry.
Tom Norton Walnut Drawing Ink® is made with artist grade pigments, not walnuts, and it is both lightfast and acid free!
Tom Norton Walnut Darkening Medium® is not only an ink but can also be used an additive to darken our original walnut drawing ink when a drawing needs that extra “punch”.
The supplier confirms that the Tom Norton Walnut ink and Darkening medium is made from all natural ingredients and has no animal ingredients.
How is the ink removed from the nibs of pens and the felt brush. Can the ink be mixed with water?
Hi Caroline, you can remove the ink using mild soap and water if done directly after being used. I would always recommend a pen nib cleaner. I soak the dried nibs and then rinse. This helps to clean the dried-on ink. As some ink is waterproof when dry, water is not enough to thoroughly clean the nibs.
Hope this information helps, kind regards
