Enjoy clean, dust-free painting and underpainting with this rich, dark liquid charcoal from Schmincke. Ideal for larger scale works, the pigments are created by charring fruit seeds - in this case, grape seeds - producing a unique charcoal nuance like no other.

Containing high-quality gum arabic, the paint has a gouache-like consistency and can be diluted with water, so that different shades, structures and layer thicknesses can be easily achieved.
