The brilliance of watercolour paint when created using a cadmium pigment has long been enjoyed by artists through the ages. Vibrancy, brilliance and depth of colour are qualities that lift these cadmiums above other more manufactured shades.

Many paint makers have tried to emulate the characteristics the cadmium pigments produce using synthetic elements - with some success, but still artists come back to the original cadmium formulas for their unmatched performace and traditional pigment power.
