This Pebeo Crackling Effect Modelling Paste Kit is an Acrylic Medium that will create a crackle effect when applied to a surface. It is a two step process and easy to use.

Step 1 - On a hard surface, apply the Undercoat Medium in a generous even layer. Let it dry for at least one hour.

Step 2 - To get the Crackle Effect, apply a thick layer of the Crackle Effect Modelling Paste. For best results, use a palette knife. The size and widths of the cracks will vary depending on the thickness that the Crackling Medium is applied.

You can use the Pebeo Crackle Effect Modelling Paste as it is or you can add colour to it by mixing it directly with Pebeo Studio Acrylic Paints. Just mix 75% Modelling Paste to 25% colour.
