First Steps with Pastel

Encouraging you to be a little playful, Jackie introduces you to pastels by taking you through a comprehensive range of techniques such as cross hatching, feathering, gradating colours, stippling and many more essentials for successful pastel paintings. Her enthusiastic manner and depth of knowledge will inspire you and build your confidence in this versatile medium.

Capturing Light & Colour

Light is one of the most difficult aspects to depict in a painting but it is one fo the most dramatic and attradtive. Jackie will show you how to paint light filled pictures and how to recognise tha impact light has on colours in nature. With lessons on colour theory and harmony, Jackie will have you producing pastel pictures like never before.

Please note that while this is a Region 0 DVD, it is PAL formatted and therefore unlikely to play in North America, Japan, South Korea and some of the Pacific Islands.

However, all DVDs will play on personal computers and laptops.
