What is the best magic eraser for erasing Watercolour backgrounds? How can this be applied? Kind regards Miss Maria Badshamiah
The magic watercolour sponge eraser is a really fascinating product. Just wet the sponge and wipe it on the area you wish to correct and it will remove the paint, even really opaque paints. Some colours are obviously more staining than others and these paints may leave a slight tinge of colour on your paper, but you could always paint swatches of your colours and see how the Magic Watercolour Sponge Eraser works on each of them.
To remove a whole background could take time, depending on the size of your painting and if you need to do smaller areas, the sponge can be cut to size. They’re reusable too, so you just need to rinse them out afterwards and they’ll be ready to go again when needed.
All the best,
