Art has always been a part of my life although I didn't start painting seriously until the late 1980s. I staged my first solo exhibition in 1990 and following the success of this exhibition I launched into my new career as a full-time artist. In 1992 I set up my own Watercolour Painting School. This is still on-going and flourishing with weekly classes at Framfield from September to June each year and regular One Day Watercolour Workshops. I also act as visiting tutor to many of the local Art Groups and in the past have tutored at Residential Colleges in England, Scotland and France.
I exhibit regularly with South East Open Studios and at exhibitions within Sussex and Kent. My work is in many private collections both in the UK and abroad.
I love the challenge of watercolour. Painting, for me, is pure pleasure. If the end product is pleasing to others then that is a wonderful bonus.
