Friendly workshops and demonstrations in watercolour around Bath and across Southern England and Wales. My loose “gravity painting” techniques use lots of water and rich tubed paint to help free up painting styles.
The Artist Magazine Award, Society of Women Artists, Mall Galleries London (2013)
I am a painter specialising in light-filled watercolours. I began painting professionally in Singapore in the mid-90s, returning to the UK in 2006 when I opened a studio/gallery in my home city of Bath. I now paint daily to commission and exhibition from my hillside studio, experimenting with cascading “gravity painted” watercolours to create imaginative landscapes and family portraits.
I run Bath Watercolour Workshops and write articles for the Artist Magazine. I have exhibited with the Royal Watercolour Society and Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour and I am an elected Associate Member of the Society of Women Artists, exhibiting annually at the Society’s summer exhibition. My paintings hang in private collections worldwide.
