Bristol born amateur artist principally working from 'camera to canvas'. Painting mostly in Watercolour & Acrylic, my Art is unique to me - it is not restricted to any particular subject - I paint what I like, and I like most things. Since early childhood my art has always 'been there', though not as a professional career - by adapting to suit a particular need my art has played a big part in my life - from painting large scale for childrens' themed parties; painting celebration cakes to order; painting for the Tourist over a 10yr period whilst living part-time in the Lake District selling Prints through local outlets; and now simply for pleasure showcasing and selling Originals, Prints & Cards at Art Trails and Craft Fairs. Professional skills born from a secretarial background have enhanced my art 'career' by developing an online presence for my art, and not least starting a local untutored art group called the South Gloucestershire Stokes Art Group (SAG) - as somewhere to paint with other artists in a relaxed environment, I have created a group website to showcase my and SAG collections of artworks; organise Group events, competitions and I write and edit the SAG-e-Mag - an online group magazine featuring hints & tips, product reviews, project galleries etc. All very creative.
