I currently paint in watercolour acrylic and oil and tutor small groups mainly in watercolour. My main interests are landscapes, townscapes, seascapes and portraits. My watercolour style is fairly loose, and I enjoy capturing light, essence and mood of a place. When I teach I aim to empower my pupils with the technical knowledge of watercolour, and enthusiasm. I also take a lot of photos, which seem to inspire others to paint, as we can not always paint outside.
I Studied Art at Bath Academy of Art and the Cooper Union in New York, after which I went into teaching.
I have exhibited my Paintings in galleries mainly in East Anglia and have demonstrated to art societies, mainly in Acrylics.
I enjoy teaching acrylic and watercolour workshops.
