The Pinata Alcohol inks are acid free, transparent, dye-based inks with an alcohol base. Once dry they are indelible and moisture resistant. can be used for a number of applications from: rubber stamping, fine art, fibre art, scrapbooking, calligraphy, airbrush applications.
The inks can be used of numerous surfaces including, Yupo synthetic paper, wood, leather, glass, foil, plastics, cellophane, acetate and canvas.
A shiny surface will allow the inks to move organically across the surface.
An Initial layer of alcohol – (clean up solution) can also help with ink move on the surface if required.
If you are a SAA member you can watch the vast number of instructional demonstrations online showing different products, techniques and subjects from many talented artists. Pinata on Yupo is one of these.
