Christmas card art... for a good cause

We are always excited to know what our members are up to...

SAA member Annie moved to Ivybridge in South Devon with her husband in 2011.  After doing some research of the archives for the period around 1900, Annie thought it would make a wonderful subject for a Christmas scene with the iconic landmark of Western Beacon (the southern most tip of Dartmoor) in the background.

Indeed, Ivybridge is called 'The Gateway to the Moors'.

The scene has now been made into Christmas cards to raise funds for a local charity called The Dame Hannah Rogers Trust. An organisation that caters for people with disabilities which originated in Ivybridge.
