Hello can this be used with watercolours after it has dried? many thanks
Thank you for your enquiry.
Golden Molding Pastes Crackle Paste is a thick, opaque material that cracks as it dries. It dries to an opaque, matte finish, with an absorbent surface suitable for acrylic paints and mediums.
As it creates an absorbent surface this may allow for watercolours to adhere to the surface.
The only way to find out is through testing and trying of the product.
There are mediums which are specific designed to work with watercolour as they offer a good absorbent surface for working with watercolours.
Daniel Smith Watercolour ground - This remarkable watercolour ground lets you use watercolours on different surfaces.Ready to use straight from the container it has a thick consistency which is pigmented with Buff Titanium and one coat will cover most surfaces.
