‘Venice’ contains four 20 minute projects: Gondola, Venetian Window, Cathedral and Carnevale Mask. Each sketch will show you how to get the best of a range of mediums and techniques, from Brusho and Watercolour, to using masking fluid, markers and pens.

Discover how to use negative painting to give atmosphere and drama to a traditional Gondola; see how you can use Morse code to create the structure of a Venetian Window; learn the secrets to simplifying a complicated structure with pen and marker combinations for the iconic Santa Maria della Salute Cathedral; and capture the colour and movement of a Carnevale Mask using a very impressionistic style and lots of shimmering embellishment.
