‘Birds Through the Seasons’ contains four 20 minute projects: Goldfinch, Blackbird, Red Kite and Waxwing. Each sketch will show you how to get the best of a range of mediums and techniques, from Brusho and Watercolour, to using masking fluid, wax resist sticks, and pastel.

Discover how to use negative background painting and then punctuate with bold colour on a vibrant Goldfinch sketch; find out how to liven up a ‘black’ painting with a range of colour and pastel pencil texture on a singing Blackbird; learn how to use wax resist sticks to create a feathery texture in a Red Kite closeup; and see how you can use Brusho to create
