can you use masking fluid on these without it spoiling the surface when you take it off
Thank you for your enquiry.
Bockingford watercolour paper has internal and external sizing which makes it very absorbent and suitable for many techniques such as lifting and scraping. Masking fluid should be applied to dry neat watercolour paper and not be left on for too long.
It is important to test all papers and masking fluid before applied to a final piece.
A useful tool for gently removing masking fluid from the surface once the panting ha fully dried is the SAA Masking fluid remover.
