Hi Roselle I love this, especially the way you have cropped his face, the eyes are fantastic and bring his face alive. July 13, 2013
Hi Roselle Thank you for your lovely comment on my Pierrot, much appreciated. This portrait of Mandela is stunning, you've really captured his character, I am especially drawn to his eyes and I really like the panoramic treatment, if it were mine I would trim it to the edge of the portrait top and bottom I think this would give it a little more impact, but that's just a personal opinion. I like the way it is off centre, that always appeals to me. I think you should have a go at more portraits, if you can do this you can do anything!!

July 13, 2013
Thanks for your comments on my commission of a local showjumper. Your Mandela is beautiful. Interested that you combine pastel and inktense. Do you use it for an underpainting or enhancement? Sally Pearce.
