I offer demonstrations and workshops to groups across the south of England, one to one or small group tuition and run occasional courses at home in Wilmington.
Exhibiting artist and art tutor. Born in London in the 60’s, I moved to East Sussex at the age of 16 and received my first paid commission in the same year. I specialise in animal portraiture but also paint a wide range of other subjects in a variety of styles and mediums, including mural work.
I trained in Graphic Design in Hastings and left with a college Diploma and a future husband. We now have 3 gorgeous sons.
In addition to being a freelance artist I have worked for a picture shop (selling originals, prints and frames), as a craft show organiser, an office manager for a design company, a Teaching Assistant specialising in Art in primary schools, a bookseller and currently work with my husband running a print business, Hailsham Creative, alongside being in a folk band and working on my artistic practices.
My first solo exhibition was in 2000 and since then have participated in numerous group exhibitions, gallery shows and Open Studios. Now I host a regular annual arts festival called Summer Trifle.
I tutor adults and children in various styles, subjects and mediums and take bookings for group workshops and corporate activities, classes, courses, and demonstrations.
