  1. As Wild As You Can Get Review by B Hester

A superb set of pastels to accompany Vic Bearcroft Book "Wildlife in Pastel". Brilliant for developing your skills in use of pastels. (Posted on 10/04/2013)

  2. Good introduction to pastels. Review by Rose Woodland

I am glad I went for the de luxe set - it has taught me the importance of having both soft and hard pastels. The colours are well selected for first time users, and I was able to do my first ever Patterdale terrier dog portrait quite successfully using just these. (Posted on 08/04/2013)

  3. Haven\'t used yet but looks impressive Review by Rosalind Landreth

It is just such a good quality paper and am always pleased with the results of a pastel picture. (Posted on 22/03/2013)

  4. good colours Review by Pat Wells

I needed colours for painting animals and these colours are perfect. The soft pastels are exactly that and the colour is very rich. The hard ones hold a good sharp edge for highlights. (Posted on 19/02/2013)

  5. Harder pastels new to me. Review by L Meyfroidt

Have had problems in the past getting enough layers onto velour supports without fixing. Watched Vic Bearcroft\'s demo. in Manchester earlier this year and asked him about pastels and learned that he uses \'the harder end of soft\'. Up to now I have used very soft pastels so I bought this set to try out and am still getting used to them - but you can certainly get more layers on. Look forward to producing much better wildlife pictures on velour in future!!! (Posted on 08/10/2012)
