Attending a Bob Ross holiday is the perfect way to experience "the joy of painting".
The venue is the beautiful Mere Court Hotel. Set in the heart of Cheshire the hotel was originally built as a wedding present for the Dunkerley family in 1903 and has now been lovingly restored into a fine country house hotel. Standing in 7 acres of gardens and grounds with a private lake in the most desirable part of the Cheshire countryside, Mere Court Hotel is only 15 minutes from Manchester Airport and with easy access to the major motorway networks. My holidays are designed for your enjoyment, held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and suitable for all levels of painters from absolute beginner to advanced student. You will have the added benefit of being taught and assisted by me (Lorna Halstead CRI, CRFI) an experienced Certified Bob Ross instructor.
Painting spaces are deliberately kept low in number, ensuring you receive quality tuition from start to finish, as well as fun!
All materials and use of equipment and tuition is included in the holiday price.
I will be holding a friendly meet and greet reception on Sunday evening, with complimentary drinks, to allow everyone to meet each other and go through the weeks itinerary
You will complete one painting per day following our step by step technique on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
Wednesday is your free day for site seeing, to visit the many tourist attractions that Cheshire has to offer.
If you would like to carry on painting there will be an optional two hour (approx) technique practice session Wednesday morning, free of charge, leaving you free time in the afternoon.
