Amateur artist, painting in oil's on canvas using traditional glaze and impasto techniques.

I have only recently discovered my love for painting having given up while at school. I can't paint but can draw was my answer to my long term friend and fishing buddy, Mike Skidmore.

Eventually I got round to a days tuition with Mike in his studio and by the end of the day was surprised at what I had achieved. Lot's more coaching followed and is still ongoing.

Besides working purely in watercolour, I enjoy using various media to explore my interest in complex patterns of shape, light, colour and texture.
