This pastel portrait is my tribute to the actor, celebrity and philanthropist, Vincent D'Onofrio in support of the work he does for global causes and charities.
Most people recognise the actor Vincent D'Onofrio particularly in his TV role as Bobby Goren in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, away from the screen, he is a very private person and not so much is known about the real man. Vincent is one of those special people who does a lot of charity work quietly, usually for causes that don't tend to get a huge amount of public attention.
One such cause is the Utah Meth Cops Project which works so hard to raise funds for a special de-tox program for police officers who put their own lives and health at risk by subjecting themselves to harmful chemicals whilst dismantling hundreds of toxic methamphetamine labs.
This portrait will eventually be sold to raise funds for the Utah Meth Cops Project. |
