Subject: Seascapes and Water

WxH: 25cms X 17cms

This has proved quite a challenge , the fishing nets and the pebbles on the beach proving difficult. I used cobaly blue as the wash colour for the sky, because it neede a warmer colour, and a mix of ultramarine and a soft green for the sea. I added a low headland and a lone yacht with its reflection, to take the eye to that side of the picture, to the focal point of the lobster smack.A great exercise and many lessons learnt! Thankyou to Steve Murphy for his photo, of which this is a copy, of 'Early Morning on Worthing Beach'.
