A lovely lady, Anne from one of my Art Groups, asked me if I could paint a picture in acrylics that demonstrated most of the stages of a painting, so that the beginers in the group could see the whole process on one canvas.
The following is that canvas. It shows the bare canvas, the scumbling, the initial drawing, the basic colours and finally the finished painting.
I hope I have acheived what she had requested, now only time will tell.
