This pastel portrait is my tribute to the singer, dancer, celebrity and philanthropist, Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll in support of the work she does for global causes and charities.

Known around the world for her amazing voice and dancing, Shakira is also an incredibly motivated and active philanthropist.

A Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF, Shakira is one of their global representatives and was chosen based on involvement in global issues, her deep commitment to helping children, and her appeal to young people around the world.

This portrait will eventually be sold to raise funds for The Barefoot Foundation.
