| This was my first commision from somebody i had,nt even met!I got a lovely letter from a friend who i work with's mum, who had seen some of my work or had heard about my work and she asked me so kindly if i would paint this picure of Robbers bridge for her, as it meant so much to her. How could i refuse? The painting took a few months off and on to do and i was so excited for her to see it, but at the same time very worried in case she did'nt like it. The painting was displayed at my local art clubs exhibition which was also the first time that she was going to see it! so no pressure then? Well after seeing these legs flying around the exhibition we knew it was somebody looking for a particular painting, and yes it was Margaret and yes 'thank god' she loved it more than i could ever have imagined. So after selling my first painting and giving me much needed confidence i have sold a few more and hopefully many more to come. Thankyou Margaret for asking. |
