Hi Hajnalka. This is a nice, fairly subtle piece of work. I especially like the way you have given form to the leaves. The tomato looks a little flat as a result of the quite sharp edges you have given it. There should also be rather more shadow under the tomato and cast onto the large leaf. This would help the tomato to "settle" into the background. At the moment it rather sits on top of it. I like the build up of value on the tomato itself - although I feel that you have reserved a bit too much of the white paper for the highlight - especially under the leafy bits of the stalk where there would be more cast shadow. I like the combination of pencil marks and watercolour wash that you have achieved against the texture of the paper. Malcolm Cudmore

I like this very much. The dark background really makes the objects stand out.

I used watercolor pencil. This is what I like and what I almost use.I agree is much more work with it,is not as fast as the watercolor, but the drawing is always is under control.
