A painting of Green Gables Hotel, Scarborough where I am basing my 2010 coastal painting holiday. This is an old red brick Victorian building, built in 1896 as a "Hydropathic Establishment" and converted into a hotel about 30 years later. It is now a hotel and conference and education centre.
