This pastel painting of Coco, my feline friend, is my first painting of a furry animal and only my second foray into the world of pastel.
As the painting grew so did the excitement because I realised that it looked exactly like Coco, the best Birman in the world ! I feel that the painting went particularly well because Coco is extra special to me and so I was passionate about painting a good likeness. It must be realistic because several cats belonging to friends have done a double take !! |
