Subject: Pet Portrait

This very loose watercolour painting is of my cat Cachou. We have been together now for 15 years and she made the long journey with me to the south of France, where I know live, three and a half years ago.
I did this from a photograph and worked very quickly to get a spontaneous portrait of here lying on the terrace. Cute!
