WxH: 17 X 12 Centimeters

I felt the promenade was 'bland' so decided to create the beach. Initially I applied salt to the wash but this wasn't particularly effective so I re-wet the area and shook on watercolour pencil 'filings'to create a shingle effect. I also changed the sky as I felt the position of the clouds in the photograph was detrimental to the composition.
