| 2006 This is a tribute and one of a collection, to Louis Comfort. Designer Extrodinaire! This canvas took me forever to work each stone in the lampshade and the metal work around the lip of the base was soo intricate. I loved working the table, it is an old slightly warped table, painting the polish on was a dream, I love painting reflections, which is why I favour water a great deal in my paintings. The teacher referred to is my Daughter, who is a superb lecturer and tutor in the Arts. Originally this painting was going to be the painting 'The Gift' featuring a lovely organza bag Sarah had given me, but alas, it was mislaid, so substited the apple instead. (c) Copyright Kate Lomax.
