Many years ago I picked up a very battered old print in a jumble sale - very much a victorian period piece. Recently when preparing a new series for the recently restored cafe in Robert's park, Saltaire, this picture again caught my eye and I tried to capture it's rich muted colours and nostalgic feel in a series of new works in a similar tall, thin format.
