Finally joined tonight.
I have only been painting since about February this year and I have been using acrylics, System 3.

I am currently working my way through Hashim Akib's Vibrant Acrylics book. I am really enjoying his approach to colour and brush work.

Can anyone tell me if my membership is active straight away?
Some parts of the website seem to work for me but when I click on a competition link it tells me I have to be a member to go any further.

Do I need an activation code for full membership?

No, looks like you have your feet under the table. I've been checking out everyone's profiles they are all very impressive (you've only been painting a year!?) I like your idea of showing some of your sketchbook.

I've been painting quite a while but feel the need for outside input. There are tutors in my area who's work I like so I will be approaching one soon. I'll try and get my profile up and splash some paint about so I don't look so new. I expect there will be another 'newb' about soon.
