Hi, Can anyone suggest what steps I can possible take next? Has anyone experience of their framed work getting buckled in this damp weather? Mine did. It is mixed media, watercolour and pastel, a heavy watercolour paper block with edges were sealed with a black film. It was sprayed with a fixative, glazed and the frame sealed. It was fine for a week or so after framing. Today I realised I had painted not on the watercolour page but on the cover page! So maybe this is the reason I have trouble. Saunders Waterford 140lb/300gms. Rough. Having now removed it from the frame and mount I tried several things. One use a photo mount spray and fix it to a board. After drying it did nothing and buckled! Today I decided to soak the work for a few minutes and try stretching it. Suprisingly the work is still on the paper, I didn't loose any colour and it is now on a board upside down sealed down with stretching paper. Having just looked at it, it is drying well cockled. Ahhhh. What shall I try next? Someone said use latex adhesive onto a board. Maybe I just need to do the work again. From Tiddlyboo.
