Does anyone know of any clubs or societies in the Manchester area?

Have you tried hovering your mouse over the local clubs tab (in red across the top of the page)? If you do this you can then click on Search by Map and put your postcode in and contact any local clubs directly...

Hi Malc! Its good advice from Ash, and you should look at it. If it helps, depending upon which bit of Manchester you are, I've done Demonstrations and Workshops at Art Fusion, at Chorlton, and you'll find this on the web and they are a very friendly group with some excellent artists.
