We do not have Sky . Could you possibly put the Drawing & Painting Channel on one of the Freeview Channels?

I agree...I only have freeview so cannot watch the programme. I know that I can watch it on the pc but we are only on a low rate broadband and it would be too expensive for me to watch.

Hi,

it's Ash speaking on behlaf of the SAA and we would really love for the Painting and drawing channel to be on freeview, but unfortunately that is out of the hands and into the hands Propella the TV provider. It is them that need to look into placing it on freeview, but it is not something that is going missed and ultimately it could work better for everybody, but whether or not it happens is into the hands of Propella.

However the weekly programmes are available at TV anytime: to view it please click the link, http://www.thepaintinganddrawingchannel ... ytime.html

Alternatively all of our programmes are available to buy on DVD.

Hope this helps!

Ash

thank you for that Ash....I hope that it comes to freeview. As a pensioner I cannot afford to watch the programme online so I hope that at some point I will be able to see the programmes.

Hi There,

Firstly i would like to start by saying how brilliant it is that you are watching the Painting and Drawing chanel.

We moved to Sky channel 195 (Propeller) as of January 2011, but continued to show one 30 minute programme per week on Sky channel 166 (Information TV) until April 2011. We now show nothing on 166, and all our programming is on 195 at 4.00 - 5.00pm every day.

Previously we aired 4 different programmes each week with programmes changing every Monday at 4pm. One of these programmes was always brand new and this was always aired first on a Monday at 4pm. These 4 weekly programmes were then repeated throughout the week in a very carefully considered repeat schedule to allow all our viewers the maximum chance of seeing the programmes.

However after much consideration we have now changed this scheduling to show 11 different programmes each week with only the brand new programme being repeated thoughout the week - this is shown 4 times in total during each week, the remaining programmes are not repeated at all throughout the week.

But of course if a viewer misses a programme they'd like to see, all programmes are available to watch at any time on the TV Anytime website at the following link: http://www.thepaintinganddrawingchannel ... ytime.html

A full schedule of programmes for each month is available to view also on the TV Anytime website at the following link: http://www.thepaintinganddrawingchannel ... edule.html

I hope this helps and dispells any confusion that you may of had.

Thanks.
Ashley Huntly-Rugg

Ive just read this posting.. would it not be possible Ash to start a dvd library of some kind, where you can send and return the dvds at a lower cost. Most people dont want to watch the same dvd over and over and I know my learners find it expensive to buy all the time. I encouage swopping! You could always charge an account for unreturned dvds.

Well done Little plum. I too have just returned to art after many years of not painting. I am 64 and hope that I have many more years left to create and paint....
Good luck to you....

Thank you Teabreaks for you support, I have watched a few programs since you posted and was impressed with the quality of the teaching, but was disappointed when the one advertised on SKY for 4.30 today was different to the one shown. Enjoyed it just the same anyway.
Little Plum 2

P.S had to add a 2 because of a mess up in S.S.A log on system or perhaps I am just getting old.
