Hi everyone, this is my first post! My name is Tony and I live in West Yorkshire, UK.
I use Winsor & Newton's Artisan Water Mixable Oils but, to complete my Hue Circle I needed Cadmium Orange. I noticed this was named Cadmium Orange 'Hue'. Now, I have heard that we should avoid 'Hue' colours at all costs because they fade and disappear. Has anyone else come across this advice and, what advice would they give in respect of this?

Cadmium orange hue has a permanence of `A` see here

The top rating is `AA`

Hi Raymond,
Thank you for your reply and, for your kindness in giving me a link to view details on these paints. I've been checking out the site and learned a great deal about the water mixable products. Finding out about specific varnishes was very interesting.
I look forward to reading more of the forum topics and considering joining the SAA.
Thank you again Raymond.
Tony
