I wonder if there is any general advice for colour blindness for water colour painting? According to tests I am red and green colour blind. I can recognise these colours clearly if bold, but they merge with distance. I have trouble with browns and greens. Also if I add red to a blue sky wash I have to add a lot before I see any difference.

E John Robinson replies: "I would say don't worry about it unless someone points out any glaring problems in the final work. You will gradually know just how much of one colour to blend with another by practice and others' comments."
