My friends told me that I need to learn the basics of drawing like shading, proportions, gridding and scaling. I don't have any idea at all. I searched the net for some tools or gadgets that can aid me learn this. I found this one tool. Its called ACCURASEE DRAWING TOOL. I think it's good. But I am just a beginner so I don't know if it really okay. But I am impressed with the gadget. you can search it foryourself. Please help me guys. Advice can be a help.

Hi! there are as many books, Vids, aids, out there as there are artists, amature and pro. The best advice I have learned from every medium I have seen is this: Practice, practice, practice! I know this sounds really easy, but even if you spend hundreds of pounds on an art course, the last thing that the tutor will say is, "go home and practice".
Draw/paint often, date and keep your work, after a while look back at what you have done. I assure you, you will see a difference
One last point, don't try and compere yourself to stuff you see on the net or in art books/vids, your own style will show through if you keep practicing.

Practice looking and seeing and drawing. You cannot practice too much and if you want to use a tool to help you, have a look at the SAA's Scale Dividers http://www.saa.co.uk/artsupplies/scale- ... 80277.html
happy painting

John
