Just want to say how much I am enjoying this channel, it has improved recently, not so many repeats and more variety. Thank you.

I have been watching for a while but it does seem to be heavily dominated by watercolour. I would love to see more of other media esp pastels (soft and oil). It does repeat some episodes heavily also ie most recently Venice Gondolas!

Hi There,

Thank you for your feedback and here at the SAA we are trying to keep the painting and drawing channel as varied as we can, which is why we have recently changed the schedule to show each of the programmes on a loop. This means we have roughly six months worth of material, so there should be a dramatic reduction in repeats, apart from the new programme, which is repeated throughout the course of the week to allow people to be able to watch it.

However if there are particular programmes you wish to watch, you can see the schedule by following the link below:

Happy Painting!

I'm afraid I spoke too soon when I said "How much I was enjoying this channel". Many of the programmes are not as on the information button. Today we had the first half of Joe Dowdens Waterfall then the second half of his Cherry Tree, which, incidentally was advertised as Jill Bayes drawing lesson. So disappointing!

I have thoroughly enjoyed this week's (w/c 9 January 2012) programmes, especially the one with Lian Quan Zhen introducing Chinese painting techniques.

Just a pity that - once again - one of the programmes froze. (Sheila Southwell's buddlias). The sound is fine but the picture freezes. This has happened several times over the past few weeks. I know I can go to the TV Anytime section of The Painting and Drawing Channel website, but by having it recorded on my Sky + box I can go back in a year's time if I want and watch it again.

Hi There,

We have been made aware of this and a member of the SAA team watches these programmes daily to see what is happening. Unfortunately playout station that are used to air the channel are having frequency problems. This is something that they are trying to fix but it could take a bit of time but if you are experiencing these viewing problems it is worth keeping the SAA informed and then we can do our best to find a solution to the issue.

Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Happy Painting!

I do not have sky so have been watching for quite a while on PC. The last three weeks or more I just get a notice saying I can watch it but there are no programmes to watch.

Does anyone else have this problem
