I'm a 27 year old surrealist/neo-expressionist painter. I started painting full time in August 2011 and now feel that I have enough work to display in an exhibition. Can anyone recommend a good place to start? Places that prefer surrealist art perhaps.
I recently setup a website which display my artwork, original music and dada poetry in the form of a blog.

It depends on how much you are prepared to pay! Your county Library may have space within libraries in your area, and they don't charge too much. At least with this way you can put your work somewhere near home ( cuts down the transport costs) and gives you feed back from the visitors book. Include an address column in your book so you can follow up good critic, and let them know when you are holding your next exhibition. You may or not sell any art but it is lovely to see your work in a public place, and most visitors are kind. Good Luck.
