Is there a fix I can use to preserve my water colour paintings?

Hi Sunshine! I'm not sure if I understand your question properly, so forgive me if I've got it wrong!
Watercolours are generally not "fixed" like you would fix pastels, and when framed, they should always be protected by glass.

If I've got your meaning wrong, then come back to me and lets see how I can help further.

Thank and very best wishes,

Thanks Steve,
it's a pity someone hasn't invented a fixative for watercolours yet, -- as I am sure even under glass watercolours fade if hung in the wrong light, -- but I guess paints are being produced now with this in mind,

Hi Steve,
good news,- I have found a watercolour fixative on page 12 of the SAA Home Shop Annual Catalogue -- issue 92, -- it's called AQUA FIXATIVE SPRAY, -- at members price of £12.35.
