I am thinking of asking my family to subscribe a year's membership for me for my birthday or Christmas. Can someone please tell me if the annual membership is from Jan - December, or for one year from the time it is taken out.

Hi, SAA membership runs for 12 months from the month in which it starts and in the first year it runs for 13 months. The best value is to pay by direct debit, your membership is then automatically renewed each year unless you cancel it. Membership makes a great present which lasts for years.
